We are currently seeking a Business Development MBA Intern for a challenging experience based Internship to contribute to an innovative and groundbreaking project in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will have the unique opportunity to participate in a fully immersive internship where you will be helping shape strategic initiatives and business development projects. This is designed largely as a remote placement however can also be a hybrid internship (Chicago or Toronto). In this engagement/applied learning internship, you'll gain unparalleled experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment, directly interfacing with senior management and largely different from any other internship. What You’ll Do:
- Assist in creating and refining business strategies, identifying key growth areas and long-term business opportunities.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to assess key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights that drive strategy development.
- Conduct in-depth research to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor behavior to inform business strategy.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations that clearly communicate the company’s strategic goals, progress, and performance.
- Work closely with other Business Development department initiatives as well as cross-department collaborations to ensure organizational alignment.
About You:
- Education: MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in business development, investor relations, strategy consulting, or a related role, preferably within startups or capital markets.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive presentations and outreach materials.
- This role requires you to be comfortable with proactive outreach, phone or video communication with potential investors, and the ability to present propositions efficiently.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic mindset with a proven ability to identify growth opportunities and execute plans.
- Initiative: Proactive self-starter who thrives in entrepreneurial settings and takes ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Relationship Building: Adept at building and maintaining relationships with investors and stakeholders.
